Focus and Scope
Journal of Tropical Fisheries Management (JTFM) is an international peer-reviewed and open access journal that publishes significant and important results of basic, applied research in the scope of fisheries management, fisheries biology, fisheries ecology, fisheries oceanography, fish population dynamics and stock assessment, multi-scale fisheries, fisheries data sciences and modeling, and fisheries development policies in the tropics. The scope of the area includes marine, coastal, and inland fisheries in different countries.
The Journal of Tropical Fisheries Management is published by the Department of Aquatic Resource Management, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Bogor Agricultural University, with the Indonesian Fisheries Scholars Society (ISPIKANI). The focus and scope of this publication are expected to strengthen the science of tropical fisheries management.
Open Acces Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles published in the journals are open access: Universally accessible online without charge.
Peer Review Process
Journal of Tropical Fisheries Management implements Double-blind Peer Review Process. Editor in Chief will assign the manuscript to a corresponding section editor for further handling. The section editor will request at least two scientists to review the manuscript. Based on the comments from the reviewers, Section Editor, and Editor in Chief will decide on the manuscript.
Publication Frequency
Starting 2024 , JTFM published two times a year: January and June
