Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic apart from hampering business can also provide opportunities to create processed products from livestock businesses. One of them is a livestock business in Yogyakarta, CV Sahabat Ternak which produces goat's milk during the COVID-19 pandemic it had an impact on its business, so it was necessary to innovate, one of which was through processing goat's milk into masks. The purpose of this study was to analyze the innovation of goat milk products at CV Sahabat Ternak Yogyakarta with the Business Model Canvas (BMC) Approach during the Covid-19 pandemic and to determine the increase in revenue through the implementation of these product innovations. The research location was chosen purposively because it is a productive farm in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. The research was conducted from March to April 2020 at CV Sahabat Ternak, Turi District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta. The data used are primary data and secondary data, primary data was taken using a questionnaire addressed to the management and employees at CV Sahabat Ternak, while secondary data was obtained from literature studies. The analysis of data processing was carried out with a qualitative descriptive approach using the Business Canvas model approach. The results showed that CV Sahabat Ternak can innovate processed dairy products into beauty masks and the company will receive an annual revenue of IDR 487,200,000.00 per year.

Pandemi Covid-19 selain menghambat usaha ternyata dapat juga memberikan peluang untuk menciptakan produk olahan dari usaha peternakan. Salah satu usaha peternakan di Yogyakarta adalah CV Sahabat Ternak yang memproduksi susu kambing. Pada masa pancemi covid-19 mengalami dampak terhadap usahanya sehingga perlu dilakukan inovasi salah satunya seperti pengolahan susu kambing menjadi masker. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis inovasi produk susu kambing pada CV Sahabat Ternak Yogyakarta melalui Pendekatan Business Model Canvas (BMC) pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pendapatan melalui penerapan inovasi produk tersebut. Lokasi penelitian dipilih secara sengaja (purposive) CV Sahabat Ternah dipilih karena termasuk peternakan yang aktif berproduksi di Kabupaten Sleman Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai April 2020 di CV. Sahabat Ternak Desa Girikerto, Kecamatan Turi, Kabupaten Sleman Yogyakarta. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder, data primer diambil dengan menggunakan kuisioner yang ditujukan kepada pihak manajemen dan karyawan di CV Sahabat Ternak, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari studi literatur. Analisis pengolahan data dilakukan dengan deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan Business Model Canvas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari CV Sahabat Ternak sangat baik jika dapat menjalankan inovasi produk olahan susu menjadi masker kecantikan dan perusahaan akan memperoleh penerimaan per tahun sebesar Rp487.200.000,00 pertahun.
